Hello Ron,
I'm emailing to ask for the Indianola Rotary Club's support of our District 6000’s Iowa MOST cleft project in Guatemala.
Iowa MOST is a medical mission with 11 years of success repairing cleft lips and palates for the children of Guatemala.
This international project brings hope of a bright future to thousands of children whose lives would be very different without the help of our district's Miles of Smiles Team.
This year 4-year old Sarah came to us for help. She was abandoned by her parents at birth because of her cleft birth defects.
Fortunately Sarah’s grandmother took her in, but keeps her hidden from the community.
She would never be allowed to go to school or even go outside to play with friends. Sarah was born with a cleft palate and a bi-laterial cleft lip.
This past Feer.
Now Sarah is allowed to play with other children, she’s able to eat and will learn to speak. Next year, she’ll be in school like every other child.
Thanks to Rotary, Sarah has a future.
Would you please ask your club to consider making a financial contribution to the District 6000 Iowa MOST project?
If you choose to help, your contribution can be made on our website at: www.iowamost.org
If you prefer to mail a check, it is important that checks be made out to District 6000 HEF, with Iowa MOST on the memo line, and should be mailed c/o: Kyle Galloway-Treasurer, 2839 Brookside Drive, Iowa City, IA 52245
We're also doing a fresh Alaskan salmon fundraiser that your club members might be interested in. One of the project doctors is donating 2,000 of fresh salmon delivered to your door this summer!
You can find out more info on our website at http://www.iowamost.org/order-salmon.
I would be happy to answer any questions you might have (I’m with the Iowa City AM Rotary Club) or even provide an Iowa MOST program to your club.
Thank you so much for your consideration!
My best,
Deb
