Rotary is committed to creating and maintaning the safest possible environment for all participants in its programs, including Youth Exchange.
To gain a greater understanding of the host country's culture, the student lives with at least two and preferably three host families during their year long stay. The Host Rotary Club conscientiously screens and selects host families who will help the student make friends and get to know the area where they are living.
The Rotary Club of Indianola has sponsored Outbound and Inbound Rotary Youth Exchange Students for over 40 years.
