Balloon Parking

Two more nights and we can let the Classic field rest for 11 months.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this year a success.  There are several fabulous pictures of the cars parked on the field this year, which will be shared when they are available.

If you have not seen the new graphic displayed on the building in honor of Steve Pfeifer you can view it below.

At the Wednesday morning Warren County Economic Development Breakfast, Rotary was acknowledged for the hard work being done to keep traffic flowing and organizing the parking field.

Thanks again to everyone for your efforts.  This is a team effort.

Helping out during this year's event were volunteers from Interact, the Indianola Christian Union Church and SE Warren Spanish Club.

In addition, we owe thanks to:

  • Emily for snacks and cookies;
  • Laura for cookies
  • HyVee For the water
  • Tim (&Larry) McConnell for the ice
  • Several individuals, to numerous to mention, for refreshments.

PS:  Todd is planning to grill brats & hot dogs Saturday night.

Interact president named 2017 National Balloon Classic Queen.
Congratulations Ally.
