“Flowers only bloom when they are ready.
People are the same way.
You cannot rush or force them open

Be patient.”

The First page has a great picture of the RYLA Group as they attended the Two-District RYLA conference in July.  Additional pictures and description are found on page 17 and following. The four students we sent came back full of energy and new leadership skills that will take them far as adults.  Their article appears on page 19.

A story about the District's Tanzania water project can be found on page 12, complete with details and pictures it provides a look at the project that we have not yet seen.

National Gratitude Month is an annual designation observed in November .

Gratitude is more than simply saying “thank you.”  Gratitude’s amazing powers have the ability to shift us from focusing on the negative to appreciating what is positive in our lives.  Practicing daily gratitude gives us a deeper connection to ourselves, the world around us and to our Creator.  What are you grateful for this year?
