Cracking the Career Code. In the book I talk about finding a career that you are passionate about and creating a plan to get there. I would love to bring this presentation to your club! Tom Henricksen [tom.henricksen@gmail.com]

Ray Thompson and I'm a speaker and entertainer. I have a 20-minute presentation about “Perception of Change” that I think your Rotary Club members will really enjoy and benefit from. Every year I donate my time to an organization I believe in and this year I've chosen Rotary because the "Service Above Self" motto aligns with one of my core beliefs. Who should I contact about possibly setting that up? I know your new year kicked off this month and you may have many booked already. Ray Thompson 515-256-0999  Ray.Thompson@outlook.com

Stories

Of the things we think, say or do
  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Dave's guest is Ron "The Wine Expert", from La Vida Loca Winery.

Did you know that only 48% of our members open the e-mailed copy of the bulletin?

The Library held a thank you for all who contributed to the new Children's Center at the Library.  Rotary was involved with the purchase of furniture, computers for young readers and framing of middle school art.  What a great addition to the Library and the literacy of our youth.
A detailed list of artwork, including artist's names can be found in the lower right corner of our website at:   www.indianolarotary.org

Thanks to EVERYONE who helped at the Field Monday.
Especially Jim T., Frank R. and Drew G. for bringing lawn mowers to make quick work of the field.

Ev fixed the door hinges on the north shed so they will not close property.

Ready to Go.  The 2015 Classic is here.

Friday Nite - The Nadas play on the Classic Stage.  They have a large following, so expect a good crowd.

Take a few minutes to review the schedule for this year's Classic.  The major reason for price changes last year and lowering of the age groups is to cover expense of music on the stage each and every night.  The bands will play, except if it is raining, so there will be entertainment and food for all to enjoy.
