The Uniendo América (Central American) Project Fair, hosted on January 30th, 31st and February 1st,  2014 by the Rotary Clubs of Guatemala, now has a website set up with registration forms, program schedule, etc.  Click here for the Project Fair webpage The Project Fair provides an opportunity for Rotarians from Central America to present proposed projects to fellow Rotarians from the U.S. and Canada who are looking for projects and project partners on behalf of their clubs and districts.  Workshops, roundtable discussions and project site visits are also programmed, along with an opening cocktail party and a closing dinner banquet.

Attendees often extend their stay for several days before or after the Project Fair in order to visit the sites of projects that have been completed, are in progress or are being proposed, and to meet with Rotarians from the sponsoring club(s). The Fair rotates among locations and in past years has been held in every country of Central America.  2014 marks the 21st consecutive year of the Central American Project Fair, and the venue is the Casa Santo Domingo hotel in Antigua, Guatemala.  Brad Howard (who will be attending our 2013-14 District 6000 Conference) has organized a "Guatemalan Project Safari" in conjunction with the Project Fair.  This "safari" will be a terrific way to get to know some of Guatemala's most popular and beautiful locations AND to see some impressive Rotary projects.
