Operation Warm

The Warm Coats for Kids is up and running for the 5th year!  Clubs have begun to turn in orders, so we'll have more happy kids soon. Prices are $96 for a box of 6 children's coats and $108 for a box of adult sizes; that spins down to $16 for kids' coats and $18 each for adult sizes. Prices include shipping to your designated address, with a minimum of 6 boxes. 

Contact Arlen to donate towards coats for kids in the Indianola Schools.

Tanzania Water Project Approved

Dear Rotarians:
Congratulations! Your global grant application for funding to to establish operational water supply and delivery system for the village of Mhezi, Tanzania and the nearby villages accompanied by training in: operators in technical water system maintenance, project sustainability, and water, hygiene and sanitation, submitted by the Rotary Club of Rotary Club of Same and the Rotary Club of Ames, has been approved by The Rotary Foundation. The award is in the amount of US$ 245,126.00.

You can watch a livestream of the proceedings from your computer or smartphone starting at 18:30 Philadelphia time (UTC-4). A recording will be available shortly after the event on www.endpolio.org 

On your computer on the day of the event

  • In Google Chrome, go to KUDO at www.kudoway.com and complete the form, then click Submit.
  • On the next page, click Floor and select your language from the list.
