Our request to bring food items for Helping Hand to the Balloon Classic Parade was met with a huge outpouring of support from the community.

Based on this success, the Board voted on Wednesday to support Helping Hand by collecting food items in other parades.  The parades that were chosen include: 

• National Balloon Classic Parade (July);
• The Indianola High School Homecoming Parade (Sept.) and the
• Log Cabin Days Parade (late Sept.)

Thank you to everyone who helped at parking during the Classic this year.  The aerial picture of the field provides a message that what we do matters to our community.
