Dear Members of the Indianola Rotary Club, Each year I have the pleasure of writing this letter. It is an honor to thank you for your role in establishing, or shepherding this endowed scholarship at Simpson College! With every one of our students receiving some form of scholarship or financial assistance, the special impact made by funds like The Indianola Rotary Endowed Scholarship truly makes a difference.
This year, as in past years, we welcomed a large group of anxious and eager students to the campus who would not be here if it were not for the generosity of people who fund scholarships. A significant majority of these scholarships and grants have come from individuals who have had the foresight to established endowed funds. We are pleased to provide you the enclosed report that outlines the values of The Indianola Rotary Endowed Scholarship, as of May 31, 2019 (the close of the college's fiscal year).
Thank you again for your support of Simpson College and our students! You may have already responded to the formal invitation to the Donor Appreciation Luncheon on October 18. If you are able to attend, we look forward to expressing our appreciation in person.
Should you have any questions, or if I may be of assistance to you in any way, please feel free to contact me 515-961-1417 or bob.lane@simpson.edu.

Korey Schroeder from Team Rubicon was the speaker at the PM Club Tuesday evening.
Team Rubicon, comprised of Veterans from across the Country, is built to serve. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, they’ve launched the #NeighborsHelpingNeighbors initiative to meet the needs of our communities through safe individual acts of service.
Team Rubicon is currently serving in communities across the country providing assistance such as delivery service for food-insecure populations, coordination and logistics support for those in temporary quarantine, as well as individual volunteers safely helping their neighbors.
These operations will continue to evolve as we navigate a new normal or other disasters require additional responses. For more information about Team Rubicon, contact Korey at: korey.schroeder@teamrubiconusa.org
