According to The Dictionary Project records, Rotary Club of Indianola has distributed 3,864 dictionaries to local 3rd Grade Students, including the 2018/19 School year.
District 6000 will dedicate a statue commemorating the eradication of Polio at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines. The date has not been established yet so watch for more information about the dedicaction in the near future.

On page 6 of the same newsletter is a list of approved Community Grant Requests. Rotary Club of Indianola has been approved to provide site preparation and one piece of equipment for an all-inclusive playground in Pickard Park, $4,800
6th District 6000 Rotary Foundation Dinner Scheduled
Our 6thRotary Foundation Dinner ison Saturday, November 3 and it would be wonderful to have a great turnout! It will be held at the West Des Moines Sheraton from 6:00-9:00 PM. Our keynote speaker will be Carl Chinnery, Polio Survivor and Past District Governor of District 6040. We will join in Rotary fellowship and "Be the Inspiration" through the The Rotary Foundation!
