Balloon Parking

Thanks to everyone who help set up the field on Monday evening. Special thanks to Jim T. for bringing his mower.

The picture below was on Facebook.  I do not know who took the picture, however, it shows the field nearing capacity during a previous year's event.

Parking Begins

We need all hands on deck each night.  If you are unable to make your shift, please find a substitute.

Tonight there is only one team scheduled and several members are out of town.  Anyone from Team 2 who can spare a couple of hours and help out will be much appreciated.

We will be bringing traffic in from the north again this year, which opens up a 4th row (usually two people).

Tickets are $5 / person age 6 to 106.

Each child 5 and younger must have a children's pass to get in the gate.  (This is the way they are able to get a total count of attendees each night.

We have TWO Samsung Tablets that are set up to take credit card payments.  See Terry if you would like to volunteer to help out and take credit card payments.

We will create a 5th line (next to the Kybos) to get these vehicles out of the way and keep the lines moving.

Two Highway Patrol Officers will be stationed to help with traffic flow.  One at the High School Stop Light and one at the 15th Street Stop Light.

That will mean the line of cars stopped on the highway waiting to turn onto 150th Ave. will be longer.  One person may need to walk the gravel road to put cars in two lines to get them off the highway quicker.

Most Important:

Stay Safe.

Sell Tickets with a Smile!

RYLA

The week-long District RYLA leadership conference in Grinnell was attended by five local high school students last week.

On Tuesday, One Interact member, One Rotaract member and Three Rotary members visited to support our youth.

We will hear from our youth in the near future to learn about their experience and plans for the future.
