Forms were set last Saturday morning. City crews finished grading and poured the cement for the sidewalk around the play area.
The playground equipment will be set by the manufacturer next week.
Rotary will provide the labor to add mulch to the area after the equipment is installed. This is currently scheduled for 8 a.m. on Saturday June 28th. Plan to help.
After the forms were set for sidewalks around the playground area, the group assisted Doug in the cleanup near the entrance of the park.
Parks & Rec is working to enhance the look at the entrance by cleaning up the area, taking out fence and removing trees to make the entrance much more appealing to visitors.
A side benefit of the cleanup is additional overflow parking.
