Through a District Grant, our club has planned to plant new trees at the Little League Fields, just south of the Middleschool.

The grant requires clubs to match the grant dollars so we were able to write a grant to plant 12 trees.

The best news was because fall prices were much less than in the spring when the grant was written, we are now able to plant a total of 20 trees.

The trees will, in time, provide shade for parents, grandparents, friends and relatives who venture out to watch their children learn the American game of baseball and softball.
